Introduction
By using, booking, and purchasing the services offered by Okazaki Photography you agree to these Cancellation Policies (the “Policy”) as listed here.
This Policy sets forth the terms and conditions for customers who purchase a photoshoot service (the "Service") from Okazaki Photography, operated by a photographer, Remi Okazaki (the "Photographer"), and who cancel at their convenience. This Policy explains cancellation methods, cancellation fees, and refunds for cancellations.
You must read this Policy before using, booking, and purchasing the Service. Use of the Service constitutes an agreement to all terms and conditions in this Policy and you warrant that you understand, agree to, and accept all terms and conditions as listed here.
Times and dates used in this Policy are based on the local time and date in the Netherlands.
How to Cancel Booking
A cancellation request must be made in the following ways.
Cancellation Fee
Cancellation fee after booking confirmation shall be charged under the following provisions. The calculation of the number of days shall be made retrospectively from the date and time of the tour.
If you have already paid the amount invoiced for the Service, you will be refunded according to the cancellation provisions.
Refunds for Cancellation
Refunds will only be made once you and Okazaki Photography have reached an agreement on the refund. Okazaki Photography will process any agreed refund within 5 working days. The processing here refers to the processing of the refund by Okazaki Photography and not your receipt of the relevant refund.
The timeframe for you to receive your refund will depend on the payment service, bank, or card company you use. Okazaki Photography will have fulfilled its obligations for the relevant refund once it is proven that the refund has been successfully processed on the transaction system used by Okazaki Photography.
Transactions including refunds are made in euros. As a result, the refund amount you receive in the currency of your country may differ from the amount you expect, depending on the exchange rate at the time of refund. If the amount received by you is less than expected due to the rate, Okazaki Photography is not liable to pay or bear the difference.
Depending on the payment method used at the time of payment, a handling fee may be incurred at the time of refund. Okazaki Photography will not cover any fees in transactions on refunds.
Changes to the Policy
The Policy may be updated from time to time and Okazaki Photography will notify you of any changes by posting the new cancellation policy on this page. The Policy in force for confirmed bookings is those to which the customers have agreed at the time of their booking. However, if, due to legal changes, Okazaki Photography is required to provide the Service under the new policy with immediate effect, Okazaki Photography will send the new policy to the customers with confirmed bookings. If the customer does not agree to the new policy, the booking will be canceled and the amount paid will be refunded in full.
